Since I know this was bugging you.

DH said he was just looking at the deep fryers, but didn't mean to put it in the cart.  He's still getting it for either our anniversary or his bday since both are coming up.

    I always thought a deep fryer would make a nice addition to family dinners/potlucks - just set it up at the end of the line and let people dunk their casserole samples for an extra punch of flavor.

    See, I worry I'd be the wheelchair bound person deep frying the bacon.  Maybe I should plan on this during the kitchen remodel.
