I need a wife

Even with H helping, I need a wife. I get home from work, squeeze the girl (who is always playing on the bed with H), get changed, pump, give DD her bath, feed her, make dinner (though H has been doing this a lot), eat, play with DD, get her into bed, wash bottles and get everything together for next day, pass out in bed. And I'm woken anywhere from 1-5 times a night by the cat or H's snoring (DD is STTN). Up at 5:45am to start all over.

H has been helping a lot but I still want someone to come to clean and do laundry.

You don't need a wife. You need a FULLY participating husband. Playing with the baby + making the occasional dinner isn't even remotely cool.

Can't you put the cat in the bathroom or something at night? (I was going to say outside but I'm sure that's frowned upon). It sounds annoying.

I would just get rid of the cat.  Fuckthat noise.  If baby is STTN, EVERYONE should be STTN.

Can you hire a cleaning person, even for once/month? It makes a big difference.

And agreed - H needs to jump in a little more.

Otherwise, this sounds normal to me.  Sorry.

well, i married a fully participating husband, and i will say dh does a lot. 

we all get home together -- baby mo gets pulled out of the stroller and onto the floor to amuse himself while we get changed.  if there's time for playing, we play.  otherwise, dh gets the bath ready while i get the baby ready (baby gets bathed on tuesday, thursday and sunday).  dh does the bath, and i empty the daycare bag, do some quick cleaning.  baby comes out of the bath, and i get him ready for bed while dh cleans out the tub and then heads to the kitchen to get baby's dinner ready.

i put the baby in the chair, dh feeds him while i get dinner ready.  dh put baby to bed, i finish dinner, dinner goes on the table.  we eat and talk.  dh cleans up, we do whatever to get ready for the next day.  dh goes to bed to read, i stay up and watch a little tv and pump, and then go to bed.

laundry is done on sunday mornings only.

Yeah....I can't say anything. I have the most awesomest, fully participating (maybe doing more than me) H. But I can tell you he didn't come this way. You have to train your man, if his mom did not.

DK is fully participating, so no complaints here. he made a list of everything we need to do each night, and I added to it (must me at least 20 lines, although some are only 1-2x/week).

DK usually picks Wolverine up at daycare, and beats me home by 15 minutes or so. He starts on the list right away - throws Hannibal in the pool (our pool bot), turns on the sprinklers, lets the dogs out and starts washing bottles/defrosting milk for the next day/freezing new milk. He puts Wolverine on her gym mat/in her swing/in her exersaucer to play until i get home. I BF Wolverine when I get home and DK will start dinner while i feed her. We put her in her swing/exersaucer/mat to play while we eat, and then work together to finish up our list.

She only gets a bath every other day - unless she gets super messy. DK gives her 75% of her baths. I get her clothes ready/make my lunch/set out my clothes while he's bathing her.

We do laundry on weekends, and it's normally a joint effort.

These schedules you new moms have crack me up.  Wait til that baby is mobile.
