Wedding Woes

wdwwt?

i was trying to find a swimsuit since we'll be buying a house with a pool, and my racing suits will probably be too tight by august.

why do all maternity and plus sized suits have skirts? I'm not a 60yo woman. Also, why is there no boobular support?

High-cut bottoms actually elongate your legs.

I managed to find some plain (no skirt) black bottoms that fit (i can tuck them under the bump when it comes to it) and this tank:

i had to buy 2-3 sizes larger than what i would normally buy, but it fits well in the chest, and I have spectacular cleavage in it.

Girl, no. I've seen you IRL, and this is waaaay too grandma for you. That looks like a Duggar swimsuit pattern.

It's okay, but is it too early in the year to be buying?

any store recommendations would be great too - i normally buy speedo style racing suits, so no clue where to get something cute that would actually fit.

I can't find a suit with a skirt (it's more flattering on me). Where are you shopping?

But that thing is fug, yo. Old Navy's plus section has some great tankinis, and Lane Bryant now sells suits with underwires (if you're less than a DD.).

<div>absolutely. I was a large D cup pre-pregnancy (I haven't gotten measured yet, but they're bigger) and while I've lost about 9-10lbs, my other weight has seemingly shifted to my stomach. I'm not "showing" yet, but size 16 pants that were big pre-pregnancy are getting a little snug.</div>

ON only has plus sizes online, FYI.

Target is sht for suits, IMO. I look every year, and every year, I find nothing. But if they have skirted bottoms, I might mix and match.

    I hate Motherhood Maternity.

Here's an article that might suggest some sellers:

Bmom - they do have skirted bottoms.

i got regular bottoms (not the ones the model has on) - but i can see the correlation between the modesty suits.

I would also suggest Old Navy for their maternity suits.

    Much more flattering than that.

I tried on a suit from Old Navy this year when I was worried about hiding injection bruises...the quality was total crap.  The seams itched.
