Wedding Woes

Random: Pier 1

I went to Pier 1 the other day to spend my $10 off $10 coupon. (I bought 2 $6 hand washes, so I paid $2 for them. Would have been better if I'd bought the clearance hand wash, but they stunk.)

ANYway, I have been SO unimpressed with Pier1's online offerings lately (cat with pasties garden sculpture) that I figured I would just run in, get my soap, and leave. But damn if I didn't want to bring home half of the store. They had curtains I wanted, furniture I wanted, tons of dishes I wanted, stupid fun stuff like pens and notepads, lots of stuff for entertaining (which we never do, but I WANTED THAT STUFF!)

So, yeah. Might be worth a look, even though the website makes it look like you'll be walking in to the physical store version of Regretsy.

I need nice nightstands but I need them in a honey finish to match my dresser.  Let me know if you come accross those.

Pier 1 stopped selling anything good online awhile ago, so it's always worth it to go into the store.  That's one place we're considering registering.
