Wedding Woes

Decisions, decisions

DH is sick.  He finally went to urgent care.  No strep but he's got some bacterial infection.  He acts like he's at death's door.  I've never seen him sick so I don't really know how bad it is.

On to me.  I'm starting to get the symptoms he had.  I don't want to be sick for Christmas and I sure don't want to feel like he looks.  So I'm debating making a doc appt for later this week just in case.

Do it.  If he's bacterial, the chances of you catching it are really, really high.  If you're already experiencing symptoms, make the appointment, so you can get the proper treatment before the holiday.

  • I should probably just make one big appt for me and the kids.  I can always cancel if nothing comes of it.  Ugh.  I HATE that we don't have our insurance cards yet!
  • We just did this too - You can usually download/print temporary cards as soon as you have the insurance. Your H may need to do it/register for the site/talk to HR/whatever.

  • You'd think DG, but no.  There is no option for temp cards or even an authorized letter.  DH called 3 different HR reps and nada.  The info says well visits are covered if you follow their guidelines for immunization.  I can't find those guidelines anywhere.  I even called the doc and they aren't sure what the schedule is.  I might just go to county health.
