Wedding Woes

Am I the only person working today?

Or am I the only person not working hard enough today?

It is H's last day of school.  Finals are next week.  After that he will be sleeping until 9 and watching TV at deafening volumes while I attempt to hold down a job in the next room.  I think I should go ahead and hide the knives from myself now.

I do not envy your next couple weeks.

I'm here!  Just trying to get all my work done in the morning so I can have a lazy afternoon.

Is your DH a student or a teacher?  (and how did I not know this already?)

I'm working today, but am trying to buckle down this morning and work since I'm leaving early.   Today is DD's 30 month well-child doctor's appointment.   She'll be 2 1/2 next week!   I have no idea where the time has gone.   My mind is blown.

I am working.  Barely.  Basically trying to keep busy to avoid looking bored.

6 - I think this is the last one that's not yearly.   We almost missed it ourselves, but I happened to think of it the other day.   Called the dr and, sure enough, they do a 30 month.   Thankfully they had a cancellation for today, otherwise we'd have to wait a month and a half for an opening.
I'll let you know if there are any important vaccines that you missed.   :)

I don't understand that fashion stance of leggings, they're really just stirrup pants without stirrups.  Next?  The bodysuit makes a comeback.

no, leggings are more like tights without feet.  when i can see all your goodness and mercy because you are wearing semi-sheer leggings with a half top, YOU NEED TO PUT ON MORE CLOTHES THAT ARE ACTUAL CLOTHES AND NOT SUCCESSORIES.  LIKE PANTS.

    He teaches.

I think I forgot to post a few months ago when I saw a girl wearing leggings as pants and also without underpants.  She had an atomic wedgie and her butt was 2 feet from my face while she waited in line at a restaurant were we were already seated.  I tried to construct a wall of bbq sauces to shield me from the horror.

EW.  I'm pretty sure leggings are *supposed* to be opaque.  But maybe I'm crazy.....could be.

Yes, leggings are all the rage, again. I see a lot of girls wearing them with shorts. What is the point in that? I am elderly.

Don't you remember the rage in the late 80s with pants and skirts?  Please tell me you remember.  They were right up their with L.A. Gear shoes, which I might add I saw an advert in JCPenney for them again.

Oh fark.  I really don't want to see people's nasty pants eating butts.

Girls at Son's school wear leggings under skirts and I think it's darling.  On adults?  Not so much.

I heart leggings. But all of mine are opaque, and worn with shirts/tunics/mightbedresses that are at least mid-thigh. You cannot see my ass, and usually, you can only see my knees. But they're nice in CO weather to wear instead of tights or with light dresses to give some structure.

Also, they keep everything in place during certain times of the month when I lay around the house and can't stand to have actual pants on.

I wear leggings on 2 occasions:
If I'm not felling like leaving the house: opaque leggings and an oversized fleece pullover from college that hits at the thigh. The H enjoys this weekend outfit far more than sweatpants, that's how it got started. And I won't even go to the mailbox without changing.

I have Nike "running" pants that fit pretty much like leggings. I wear them when I workout in the cold; especially biking where sweats and yoga pants can get caught in the chain.Usually I wear some shorts over them to cover more of the azz/cameltoe.

I wish I could layer with stuff like Bmom, but I just look stumpy.

Dear Rain, Not Today. Sincerely, My Parade
