I think most people have today off. I had all last week off, but had to come in today.

My BIL had some sort of funk that I think he passed on to me. He looked like a real sad sack on NYE....I hope I don't get what he had.

Is anyone else here? Did you guys leave me alone with the beebees?

I'm here...Working as well.

We had a quiet New Year's weekend.  Except for the fact that DefConn got thrown so far off his sleep schedule (which is very loose to begin with) that he was up at 4:45am yesterday.  Thank goodness I had downed a bunch of water and advil before going to sleep or it would have been so much worse for me and my hangover.

I'm sicker than sick and have my trip later this week.  Ugh.  Dread - physical and emotional - I haz it.

Are the students back today or just teachers?

The kiddo doesn't go back until Thursday.   They also didn't start their break until the Thursday before Christmas.  It was kind of a wonky break.
