It *is* lightweight. Assembly was a breeze. It picks up more than my "real" vacuum (which is a crappy, 8yo $99 Dirt Devil, but still). Perfect for all of the little crumbs scattered about by the boys.
bonus: without the handle, it's a perfect height for them. Dexter vacuumed for about 30 minutes on Wednesday night. (Pic on FB, if you missed it.)
So yes, winning. In my dream world, I'd just get my dyson. Or maybe my dyson AND the Electrolux Ergorapido (

They were on sale at walmart.com last week for $15 and free shipping. I paid another $1.00 or so in tax. Looks like regular price is only around $20, though.
