s/o Cats

**O-Face**

I was running Monday morning and saw an animal in the road.  I thought maybe it was an opossum or racoon. 

Nope, it was a dead kitty.  It was a pretty kitty too.  My only hope is that it's not local to the neighborhood, so owners just think the cat ran away or found a better place.

Oface if my cats ever get loose and get hit and killed I hope I never EVER find out. I would prefer to believe they ran away and a cute old lady or a sweet kid (or a fellow crazy cat lady) is loving them as much as I do.

**O-Face**

I didn't see if it had a collar, but it was on a quiet street so my thoughts are someone ran it over on purpose.  I swerve for bugs. 

It was a pretty tortoise shell colored kitty.  I felt bad.  It took me a few miles to stop wondering.

Not all owned cats have collars, but who knows? S/He might have looked down for a second to change the radio station and out comes a kitten from the bushes.

I would be devestated if my cat ever got out and then got run over. I, too, would never want to find out. Plus, she doesn't wear a collar. I've tried a million times and everytime she gets it off within 10 minutes. She gets into too many crazy places for me to consider a non-breakaway collar.

**O-Face**

I don't keep collars on my pups either.  Only if we take them out of the house.  Kind of a bad deal, but they like having freedom.  Or maybe I like them to have freedom.

Yeah, I had a friend in high school tell me she came home and found her kitten hanged from the blinds. I decided then and there I would the paranoid cat mama.
