Wedding Woes

sniff, sniff

6let has a doc appt tomorrow for his preschool physical.  I'm not ready for him to be that old.  At the same time maybe someone else can get him to understand the difference between 1 and I.

Re: sniff, sniff

  • Awww!!!  He's going to be 5 in September, right?  Crazytown.

    Hee @ the 1 and I thing.  :)

He's 4 in Sept.  The plan is two years of preschool unless they say he's super advanced (doubtful).

Sorry for aging him a year, LOL.

    Is he excited for preschool?

He is very excited.  Every time we drive past he says "That's my XYZ school.  I'm going there all by myself."  It's time for him to be away from me and he loves being around other kids.  I'm also looking forward to a short time alone with M2.
  • Of course he's adorable about it.  I'm sure you'll enjoy the solo time with M2.
  • Aww.  It's bittersweet.  As parents, you work and watch for the developmental milestones and celebrate them.  But at the same time, it's sad they are growing up.  He (and you!) will do great!

    1 and l and I is very much age-appropriate.

You'll be shocked at how quickly he picks stuff up in school, though. What kind of preschool? Half-day or full?

  • Aw!   I understand.  I was filling out DD's preschool paperwork last night and had the same feelings.   We weren't going to send her until next year, but my mom (who watches her during the day) wants her to go and offered to pay for it - so that's fine with us.   I know they'll love it but it's hard to let the kiddos grow up.
