What part of Wedding Planning is driving you crazy?

What has been your least favorite part of wedding planning?

Interviewing vendors. I hate "shopping around", but I know I would be stupid if I didn't. I hate it because it's time-consuming and gets boring after a while. And then when I finally choose the one I want to go with, I feel guilty when I write the rejection email to all of the others.

Thank god I'm done with that part now, ha.

Negotiating has been my least favorite part. I'm in the early stages and have really only booked my venue and church, but negotiating between venues was awful. I know they don't care and I'm sure everyone does it, but I just felt like a jerk every time I called and said "This place is offering me y and z. Can you match that for x price?"  It paid off - I got a great price for the venue, but I would love if there was a no-haggle policy w/ these places!!

Figuring out the budget was definitely the most frustrating part of wedding planning so far. We didn't really have it settled until about a month after we got engaged, so we weren't able to plan anything in that time. We were looking at venues, unsure of which ones we could actually afford. Luckily things worked out and we are able to afford the things that were most important to us.

Jessa - Did you finally get ahold of your florist or did you end up going with your second choice?

I really really hated doing the guest list. It was the worst! I hated feeling like I had to choose who I loved best in my life. I just wanted everyone to be able to come. It took me forever to do a final list. I am also really not looking forward to doing the seating chart.

I'm still in the early stages but so far would be videography. We are meeting with a videographer in a couple of weeks but FI is driving me crazy...at first he doesn't care about it and then it's one of the most important things to him..huh??? "Like yo dude get it together." Then he wants to pick apart the inexpensive videographer's work but doesn't want to spend the $$ on the more expensive videography...he is getting on my nerves with this...

It drives me totally crazy that I'm planning away and someone will ask about my plans and when I tell them, they have to offer their opinion. I'm not sharing my plans so they may be criticized. Ugh
