Wedding Dress Problems!

My wedding dress is tea length and fitted. I am getting married on a Carnival cruise and so I wanted a dress that was not too bulky. The sad part is that I am watching a wedding show on WE TV and they just ripped into my dress saying it is not a wedding dress at all. I am mortified and do not know what to do.

All that matters is that you love the dress. My wedding dress was a bridesmaid dress. Did I care it wasn't a "real" wedding dress? No. It was pretty and appropriate, which is exactly what I wanted and needed. So enjoy your wedding/cruise and screw the stupid TV show.

Who cares what they say on some TV show? Your wedding dress is based on your own likes, on what makes you feel like a bride, not on what a bunch of overly opinionated, self-righteous know-it-alls say on TV (ever seen those after-shows on E where they judge dresses on the red carpet? Same thing).

My dress was just below the knees and light blue (it was actually a BM dress). Some people (not my guests, but the lady at the store) said it wasn't a 'real' wedding dress, but so what? Wear what you like and feel fabulous doing so. And FWIW, I agree that for a cruise you wouldn't want some huge bulky thing.
