I just got a robo call soliciting charitable donations for some law enforcement support charity.  It was one I've never heard of before and I don't like to give money to those robo call companies anyway (they typically get to keep a large chunk of the money).  But this guy may have been going a little off script.  He said, "Now this is our last fund drive of the year.  We won't be bothering you again.  Believe me, as soon as this one is over I'm a gonna be taking a pill and laying my head down." 

I was tempted to give him $20 for creativity.

    ::head tilt::  What a weirdo.

    I'm always skeptical about phone calls claiming to be raising money for the police/fire departments.  I'll send my money directly to them, tyvm.
