    I just finished season 1; season 2 starts arriving today. 

    Book 7 is waiting for me at the library, too. 

    So far I like the books better, mostly because all the characters are more likable. And because Eric is a lot better looking in my head. Also, since I'm so ahead of the series (it seems to be a book a season; does that continue?), I wonder how the changes they make to the central points will pan out later.

    You know, I want to read the books, but I never wanted to spoil the tv series for myself.  Dumb, I know.  I could start reading now and just not read when I'm caught up.

    Also, I think Eric is the most attractive character on the show.  Wait until you see him in the second season.

    He just looks ill in the first season. I'm not a fan of Bill, either, but I realize the series has a different aesthetic than I do, probably.
