Anybody who has taken prednisone

I peeled off the instructions to be able to open the foil for this prednisone. It goes 6 the first day, 5 the second day, 4 the third etc. It's 10mg if that matters.

I'm on day one. I took 2 before breakfast, then one after breakfast, and now I don't remember if I'm supposed to take one after lunch, one after dinner and one at bed time, or 2 at bed time. I thought it was 2. I cannot find any helpful info online.

The point is to keep a steady dose in your system, until your body responds, and then lower the dose. You aren't likely to find a concrete answer regarding a titration schedule, because that will vary across patients (condition).

If it were me, I'd take one with lunch, one with dinner, and one at bed.

If you call your doc, someone should be able to tell you the dosage.

After lunch and dinner and before bed will be fine. I've taken it many times. You might have some good vivid dreams tonight.

Generally, with the taper packs, you're meant to take all 6 at once on day one, all five at once on day two, etc.

each doc tapers differently, but gernally, I agree with Leah above, that most dose packs are meant to be taken all at once...
