I do number 2 (hehe #2) becuase hubby is a control freak.  God forbid I move something of his.  In his defense I'll move it and forget where i put it so he does have a point.

I get annoyed when DH just goes and does stuff.  Usually because it ends up requiring me to do something or there was something I wanted to do before his activity.

Example: We needed to move a twin bed into 6let's room.  Before he did that I wanted to clean and condition the hardwoods.  DH just started moving the bed before I could get that done.  He moved the bed, but then I still needed to change all of the sheets, set up the rails, and give the bed a good cleaning.  I would have liked some warning.

Option #2 because he's just going to come ask what I'm doing anyway.

Tell the person what I plan to do, and what I plan on him doing, and when, and then go off to do my part while he follows directions. And he does, which is why we're still married and no homicides have been committed.
