You guys would have been proud. I was sitting at Target 2 days ago waiting on a prescription and listening to this whiney little kid (5 maybe) wail about how he wanted this cereal or that toy. This mother was doing NOTHING.
They eventually walked down the aisle directly in front of where I was seated. I had a very short fuse that day and had already said a silent curse on the woman, but the child, trembling with fake tears, stomping his little feet, all red faced, holding an extra large box of captain crunch got to me.
THAT IS ENOUGH. (me to child)
Cue mom looking at me like, "OH HELL NO" but I apparently had venom-face because she let it go. The child gave me a dumbfounded look and set the box of cereal on the floor and walked off, trying to hold Mommy's hand.
