Wedding Woes

Things

1. I'm a little irrtated with my neighbor because she asked if we could watch her son yesterday because he was sick (he's a year younger than the kiddo).  I was asleep, but DH told her no.  I don't even want to hang out with my own kids when they're sick, much less be with a neighbor kid.  Andplusalso, we have a not even 2 mo. old baby who has not been immunized against anything.  And she should know better since her now 6 mo old spent a month in the hospital with RSV.
Oh and it turns out that the kid has strep.  Nice.

2.  Our HVAC system should be replaced on Tuesday. I'm not looking forward to paying out the money for this, but it will be nice to have working air.  :)

3. I bought new clothes yesterday.  Shopping was a little frustrating, but I ended up finding some cute stuff.  And I got new shoes too.  My 'official first day back to work' outfit is ossum.

4. I had to take an assessment for the work at home position. It was a ton of math and vocab.  And a personality thing.    Once I got into the math, it came back to me.  And reminded me of why I hate math.

5. A STTh item...We had the sechs for the first time since I had DefConn.  It was probably a) the worst sex we've ever had and b) it made my spotting super heavy.  ::sigh::

Oh and I made a comment about turning him on after the fact and he said that he hadn't really been turned on.  I went OFF because we only had sex because he wanted to.  I would have been perfectly content waiting a little while longer.  DH clarified, apologized, and concurred that we should have waited.

    1) What the what? how dumb can people be? I wouldn't let SILs bring niece and nephew with them to the baptism because i didn't want the baby around them - and she had her first 2 sets of shots before they came.

    5) it will get MUCH better (although might take a few weeks/months) - just give it some time and take things slow. patience is key.

ETA - we're going to have to replace our HVAC system in the next couple of years. we're going to upgrade for the energy efficiency - we don't use heat much, but the air is running from March/April - November
  • 1.  I could never imagine asking someone to watch my sick kid, newborn or not.  That's just ballsy.

    5.  First post-baby sex isn't good no matter how turned on you both are.  IMO, anyway.
