Hi everyone,

Did any of you NOT use one of the usually-recommended hairstylists on this board? Meaning, did any of you use someone other than Jill Kozar, Karen Capcino and Meghan Cahill?

The reason I ask: I have reason to believe that Meghan might not be a good fit for my bridal party. I've seen her work and, although lovely, isn't really my style.

Does anyone have any suggestions for hairstylists that would come to our hotel in downtown Philly that specialize in more fashion-forward rather than bridal styles? I have done a little bit of research and found a few other names like Mackenzie Hughes. Has anyone used her?

    I did not use any of them. I used the stylists at Salon Bellissima in Springfield, PA. they are all awesome!
    I bet some would travel- you can call and find out. I just went to the salon because I had 8 people that needed hair and makeup and a 3 hour window!

    Thanks! I have a few of us in the salon... I seriously have none from the wedding yet and I am anxiously awaiting the professional pics to come in. PM your email address and I'll send you them when I get home. I have my trial pics too- I'll send what I have! I used Jeanine for my hair and she was awesome and quick. We used a few of their other stylists too and they were just as wonderful!

    Sam Vega, He is awesome.  His website is http://www.samvega.net/
    I would highly recomment him and he always does trials.  He also does makeup or his partner will do the makeup.

    TrishPA: Do you think Sam Vega would travel to downtown Philly? We're getting ready at a hotel in the city and there will be about 10 of us.

    I second Sam and Patricia Solis.  I know they travel to Philly as that is where I met them.  At my best friends wedding.
