my sister is one of the few female vps in her company. on friday, the company threw a party to celebrate some big thing (honestly, i have no idea what the company does, other than work my sister to death and give her a lot of money).
anyhoo, the party was at some restaurant downtown. some mid-level person got smashed -- absolutely annihilated, just falling down drunk. there was some drunken yelling and hooting at a waiter, and all of that.
for some reason, it has fallen on my sister to talk with this person. they all figured the whole "you know what's not appropriate? drunk you" talk would be better coming from one woman to another, and my sister is that woman.
it happened yesterday. luckily, i don't think this girl got punched in the back like i did, but my sister is really, really good at the whole "don't ever do that again, please, or i will CUT YOU."
