ANd for the love of little green apples, will faculty start remembering that we don't HAVE a teacher's lounge--when they discuss Beauford the problem student and don't make sure they're in private, these things make their way around the world?

And student workers are students first, employees second, telling THEM about a problem student (or forgetting theyr'e there when talking about said student) is just inviting them to tell their BFF about how Dr. Vladamir hates JimBob.
(and BFF will tell her boss, her boss will tell MY boss and, lookit, in 4 easy steps, we've got a PROBLEM.)

I've always wondered this: when you say "Beauford" in your head, is it pronounced Byew-furd or Bow-ford?

(it is actually a name--and I have heard it.  ONCE. :-)
