For the non-clicky people:  How many accidents have you been in?  Doesn't matter if it was your fault or not.

Two. 

Once as a passenger.  My mom was driving and we rear ended a little bitty car that slammed on the brakes and stopped in front of us on the highway.  Her mini van couldn't stop quite as quickly. 

The other time I was just stopped in a parking lot and someone decided to back out of their space without looking to see if they could and completely smashed in my passenger side door.

I assumed non wildlife.  If we include wildlife I'm well over 5.

i've been rear-ended three times (once in the snow, once in complete standstill traffic and then one time this woman got out her car to yell at me that there wasn't any damage and i should just drive (yes, i called the cops and we waited for an hour for them to show in rush hour and i totally ruined her week and I AM NOT SORRY)); a cabbie side-swiped me, i hydroplaned and rear-ended a car and then once a car rear-ended my parents when i was in the back of the minivan where all the seats had been removed so i just somersaulted into the space between my parents' seats.

No wildlife.  Just anytime a vehicle you were in struck another vehicle or pole or some structure.

5+ for me and I will admit that as a teenager, many were caused by me. Actually, I will admit to just being a horrible driver. I have never had an accident with another moving vehicle. I'm just a dumbass that hits parked things/stationary objects. I also have not had an accident while The Boy has been with me.

- i was rear-ended 2x in 2011- once i was stopped at a light, once i was in a u-turn lane waiting to merge onto the road. the lady who hit me at the light was probably going at least 50mph. she yelled at me, as if it was my fault. car was totalled in the first accident. DK and Wolverine were with me in the new car for the 2nd. both of these women were cited.

a woman backed into my parked car while i was sitting in it. she then yelled at me that i shouldn't have parked so close. you backed a good 18" into my space, bitch.  (parallel parked, clearly maked spaces) I took pics, called the police and got a report. she was cited. -2008

skidded on ice, while pulling into a parking space, hopped a curb and took out a metal pole. (this is what happens when they force you to come into the office after an ice storm) - 2007

re-rended a car while inching up in traffic - hit ice and skidded. didn't hit him hard, but he was basically sitting on the guy in front of him, so 3 cars. -2004

car side swiped the front of my car while i was pulling into traffic through cars from a side street. - 2004

late 80s/early 90s: was a passenger when my mom got rear-ended.

i haven't been "at fault" for an accident since 2004.

I'm also a pretty horrible driver. Never anything serious, but plenty of minor body damage over the years. Sadly, more poles/posts/guardrails than anything else. At least 3 were snow/rain-related. A couple were just plain dumb.

It's sad, actually, to add it up.

I will say, I am shocked, *SHOCKED* I tell you, that I only have had the 1.

For the past 5 years, I've driven 800+ miles per WEEK.

2 jobs ago, I drove over 1000 miles per week.

Stats say that I should have had more.

(wait, actually, there was the girl who tapped my bumper in bad traffic a few years ago...no damage to either car, we didn't even exchange info)

Oops.  Mine should be 3.

-Rear-ended a dude who was at a yellow, and stopped.  I was 16 or so.  DUMB.

-Was in the backseat of my mother's car, when she front ended my car sitting in her driveway.  The day before the wedding.

-Was backed into on the passenger side in my own damn neighborhood.  Totalled my car.

5+, but most of them were fender-benders with little or no damage. 2 have been my fault. I've been driving for 17 years, which just makes me feel ancient.

I said 2 because I was driving at the time of the 2 (miscalculated speed on a turn with a 500lb person in my passenger seat and me getting distracted by my ex screaming at me), but I was in 2 other accidents in elementary school (1 wildlife, 1 idiot driver)
