Wedding Woes

Why so quiet?

I actually have TIME to read stuff and everyone is incognito.  Damn.

Things:

I have a race tomorrow and I'm hoping that it rains so noone shows up and I win.  This is a LOOOONNNGG shot, but it would be cool, yeah?

I love that commercial with the guy who shows up to do those "flash mob" things and he's early.  HA!

I made roasted cauliflower this week.  Everyone should try it.  For reals.

I am so self centered...I I I I.

I have nothing to say. My life is boring. Though I did find out that a guy I've been in choir with for 3 years is an archaeologist. That was kind of fascinating. I've never known an archaeologist before.

I just got here. And first thing out, I found out I won't get raptured. I am pondering.

Who says you won't be raptured Jojo?

Also, I find it funny that people think the rapture is happening.  If you read the bible (which those people obviously don't) it states that we won't know when the rapture is happening.  And really...maybe the rapture is everyday but just some of us at a time...you know...death?

I am busy playing words with friends and attempting to look "busy" at my desk.  I'm sercretly planning my dash through Ikea and bank trips during lunch.

I've visited Ikea and I don't see the appeal.  It reminds me of Sam's but for furniture.  I just want to mow people over.

Well, that should be easy to score.

H is driving me nuts lately.  Yes, I know your job is annoying and they don't give a crap about you.  But really, what are you going to do to change that?  Oh, nothing.  ::Eyeroll::

BMom posted a chart below, I won't be raptured according to it.

But here's my contribution: I am still fighting this damn stomach bug. But I committed to making cornbread for my grandmother today, so I will be heading out to the store in a bit for what I need. I'd rather sit here though.

I am going to see Bridesmaids tonight.  Possibly be sexed up, but probably not.  His sister is in town visiting, and there would be a lot of questions to answer when he said to her, "Here's a key to my place, see you tomorrow!"  However, when I told him, "Have fun with [sister]!  I'll just see you when you're free, " he said, "I am going to try damn hard to see you, though!"  Made me LOL.

Tomorrow, IDK.  I'm still waffling on going to a kid's birthday party.  If not, lots of decorating and cleaning will be done.  I cleaned the back half last night - bedroom, bathroom.  Now the living room and kitchen need some TLC.

    Sunday, no plans.

Tomorrow I have race, then breakfast/lunch, maybe run again, and hopefully a bday party to attend (if H isn't a hermit, which he is, so I will drag his ungrateful ass along).

    Sunday, the usual.

Also, the Rapture is *made up*. It's barely in the Bible - there's one line in 1 Thessalonians about being "caught up in the clouds". It's Paulian, as so much of "Christianity" is these days.

We've been at the park all morning and just made it home.

This weekend is yard work, church, and a trip to Sam's, Kohl's, Lowe's, and Home Depot.
