Wedding Woes

For once, a good name!

Seriously, these friends have good taste.

Madelyn Estelle.  This is the younger sister to Grace Evelyn.

    I love both those names.

Your friends may continue to have and name babies.    They do a good job.

I like Madelyn, but Estelle just strikes me as old lady-ish. Was she named for a grandmother?

actually Grace Evelyn is the same - Evelyn is another old lady name.

    Most likely yes.

Another friend just had a baby. Named her Adeline Rae, family name.

Old lady names are coming back into fashion. There's sort of a 100 year rule. Granted, we over shot with M's name. Her name was popular from 1890-1920.

Bacon's name peaked in like 1900 or something.

I love Evelyn, and I like MadelAINE or MadelINE, but why or why with the y?

I'd rather see old lady names than Madison, Addison, or Mackenzie.
