Wedding Woes

American Horror Story Fans

New stuff up:   http://collider.com/american-horror-story-season-2-images/191561/.

Am I mistaken or does it look like Dylan McDermott and the actress who played the wife aren't returning?  Seems like a bad career move if not.

Also, I don't know why the text looks funny, I hope this is readable.

  • It doesn't look like it, V.  Is the second season set in the house?  I haven't kept up.

The show isn't structured the way a normal sitcom is. Each season is an entire story. Next season is a new location and a new story, start to finish. Some of the same actors may return in different roles in the new story, but they may or may not be main characters.

  • Every season is supposed to be a new story arc.

Say whaaat?  I already had a heck of a time not seeing Russel Edgington while Larry was on screen, now my brain is supposed to process more than one character from the first story as a completely different person in the second?  :/
  • Actually, Taw, when I first read about it I was not too happy.  But honestly, I think it sounds really interesting now.  Jessica Lange will be playing a nun in this insane asylum that used to be a TB ward, with James Cromwell playing her boss (presumably a priest?).  I think it'll be fun to have a new story arc with each season.
  • I am very excited about AHS. We just went back and watched the first season last week.

I agree that I was not into the idea of a different story at first but now I am really excited. I think it is a very good idea. Because there are a lot of horror stories out there….and not all of them deal with hauntings.

I heard this season will not have any supernatural elements either. It will deal with more of the horrible things people do to each other based on believing it is the right thing to do. It is set in the 60's so it is when people were put away for being gay or having a sex addiction. I think it is a brilliant premise
