I need a new bag for work (has to be able to carry iPad, laptop, a thin binder, notepad, small purse, and other little items.

My sister is a good shopper, I may make her find something stylish and functional for me. And at this point, I'm willing to spend good money on a bag that is going to see a lot of airport floors.

Wonder if I can talk DH into the $1K bag I want? Methinks not.

I want a tote. No messenger bags. Leather or nylon preferably. No preference on designers. Must be able to fit up to a 17" laptop. Must be black.

I think I need to see the luggage guy my dad recommends. I need a new suitcase as well, so I may just go all in and upgrade to something possibly ugly but designed for the kind of wear and tear I put on luggage/work bags.
