[QUOTE]How much time has he spent with him?  Is there a chance he's scared? Or doesn't know what to do?  I;m not trying to justify this, I'm just wondering if there is an underlying issue.

He spends a pretty good amount of time with him IMO, but it is usually in short spurts (an hour or so in the mornings, bedtime routine, etc.) and usually I am around if there is a major meltdown.  I have only left him with C unassisted for more than an hour 3 times.  He can do the whole 3 hr routine (feed, play, nap) without a problem though, so he knows what to do.

I can't wait for the "im getting a divorce" post in 5 years or so because your husbands were fed up with your disgusting chair asses from playing on the knot all day and getting fired 4-5 times for not doing any work. you guys are all winners!! ~ Laur929

I have a friend who got all bent out of shape when she was going out of town for a weekend, and her H proposed staying with his parents. She said, "You know MIL is going to take care of the kid." I asked why that was so bad. She said, "So he understands what I do everyday." (she is a SAHM)

Now, I think she is wrong is this instance. Why does he have to understand? That is her job? He does plenty with the kid when he is not at work. Does she go to his work every now and again, to UNDERSTAND what he does? No. She is being petty and spiteful. (totally her MO).

Here? In this case? You ASKED. The two of you made plans. This has nothing to do with MIL. Nothing to do with sides. It has everything to do with him making a committment and needing to honor that.

Seriously. I am wanting to call a lawyer for you.

Why did he have a kid at all?
