Have you considered possibly moving to a different area? I know that may be impossible right now if you own your home and with your DH's job.

Hey, I know a company called Southern Wine and Spirits is getting ready to open a warehouse on the Southside (DH is looking at supervisor positions with them)...But they may need office staff or something.  You might want to look into them and see what they need.
