Wedding Woes

My nephew cracks me up...

He's 2.5, and the other night at dinner he picked at his food but downed his milk.  He asked for more milk and my sister to him to eat his dinner.

He kept asking for milk and she kept telling her to eat his dinner and he could have more.  So he started singing, "I want more mi-ilk!"  My sister sang back, "E-at your dinner!"  After a few times back and forth, my sister sang, "I'm the mommy and I am the bo-oss!"

Without missing a beat, he sang back "I-I'm the Maddox and I-I'm the boss!"

He didn't get any more milk, but my sister said that she couldn't keep from laughing.

It's so hard not to laugh at your kids when they do funny, but bad, things.  That might be one of the hardest things about being a parent!

    Cute!

Although I don't understand the milk thing. I have friends that still drink milk because their parents made them drink it with dinner. Ugh.

    What's wrong with that LS?

Also: HAH @ the kid. I love it when their personalities start really coming out.

If you can get your kids to drink milk with meals, I think that's awesome.

But for both DH and I, the idea of having a glass of milk is probably one of the most unappetizing things ever. That's why I was surprised to know that some people I know drink glasses of milk regularly as adults.

I love milk. As soon as I could drink it I did, with every meal. Now I mostly drink water but sometimes you just want to sit down and have a bigass glass of ice cold milk.

    That kid is hilarious.

I love milk.  I'm very excited that I can (probably) start drinking it again.  It's been a long, long time.

I dislike milk, also. I wish I didn't and know it is beneficial, healthwise. I.just.can't.drink.it. Blech.

I used to drink it as a kid. With cereal, and with milk and cookies and whatever.

Now I use almond milk in my cereal and tea. I wouldn't ever have a glass of it however.
