I remember watching the show and hating it because Markie Post is the most horrible person in the world.  (I may be exagerrating.)   But I was a kid and we didn't have cable, so we watched whatever was on and liked it.

I remember the theme song and Markie Post and that is about it.

The Jay guy was in some other poticial type show around the same time (not Murphy Brown).  Love & War maybe?  I guess I could look it up.

I think it was Love & War.  Was that one with Annie Potts?  And he actually may have been on Murphy Brown as a guest star.

He was on Murphy Brown for at least a season.  Wasn't he the father of Murphy's baby?

We were talking about Jay Thomas maybe being the father - not John Ritter.   But, yeah, I remember that guy.  He's very handsome.
