Wedding Woes

Deceptively Delicious Review

I actually bought the book on Black Friday 2 years ago when our local Borders was going out of business and everything was on sale.

A friend of mine with a son who is the only person I know of pickier than my H got the book and made the Peanut Butter Banana Muffins. So good.

Over the weekend, I made the Applesauce Muffins. They were bland, but edible. And A liked them after we told him it was cake.

This morning, I made pancakes that had sweet potato puree in them for A and I. He loved them.

All in all, some good ideas. It's a lot of work to puree the stuff, but I'm finding that I can just puree whatever vegetable we had at dinner and freezing them in portions, similar to what I did when making A's food.

i'm going to try the sweet potato puree in pancakes.

kid LOVES pancakes, and i am sure that the puree makes it just a wee bit better than it normally would be.
  • It is yummy, especially with a little bit of cinnamon or pumpkin pie spice.
