Since we were chatting about and researching mascara last week, I decided to try the maybelline XXL curl.

eh. I don't think I'm a fan.  I still used my eyelash curler, but my eyelashes are even less curly than usual now, 3 hours after I put it on. 

Thumbs down on curling and thumbs down on coverage - it barely looks like I'm wearing mascara at all.

I want my $8 back.  One day I'll learn to buy makeup at walgreens instead of target so I can return it if it doesn't work.

Yeah, I find that most the mascaras that promise to lengthen or curl your lashes, don't normally do the job.  I think the best mascara I ever used was Clinique, but it's too expensive to buy on the regular.  But it rarely ever clumped and separated my lashes really well, which made my eyes look great.

I use Almay but I'm thinking of making a change. It's getting gloppy the more tubes I buy.

I really like the Cover Girl stuff that is specific to eye color.  I don't think it is making my eye color pop, but I'm very pleased with the coverage, lack of clumping and lack of flaking/running.  It's the best drug store mascara I've ever used.

I love my Almay mascara.  I've been using it for years.  No clump, no goo, no problems.

The best mascara I ever had was Chanel multi-dimensional something or other. It was amazing. It lasted all day, no clumps, and it really did make my lashes curl.  But it's like $40 a tube, and I haven't been able to bring myself to spend that much money on it again.

I have thin, short, blonde eyelashes. I use Make-up Forever Smoky Lash from Sephora. It's awesome. Totally worth the $20. It lasts me 6 months.
