CW and I discussed this at our GTG.

WE ARE NOT TWILIGHT PEOPLE. WE ARE NOT TEAM ANYTHING. WE DO NOT PHOTOSHOP OURSELVES INTO PICTURES WITH EDWARD. WE DO NOT OWN ANY TWILIGHT GEAR. WE DO NOT WISH OUR HUSBANDS WERE VAMPIRES OR WAREWOLVES.

We read some books and watched some movies. If you listened to our discussions, you would see that we like them the same way hmonkey likes tough love and idkiwp. Wait, maybe that's a bad example.

'Tis a horrible example, because I am pretty sure hmo has a Team Steve shirt.

And my one piece of Twilight paraphernalia, my Team Jacob shirt, was a JOKE. ::darts eyes::

Really, there are always psychos who attach themselves to popular things. For some people, it's Twilight. For others, it's Urban Decay...

I get CW liking this stuff; she's barely old enough to drive. But I can't understand anyone over the age of 25 being into it. And even then, the whole t-shirts/ team edward/ team werewolf boy thing is beyond me.

We saw Blindside this weekend.  The theater was PACKED for Twilight.  They had a sheriff taking tickets, one directing people to the theater and another directing traffic outside.  Cuhrazy!

I wear UD on my face, as a product....I don't wear Team Urban Decay shirts to declare my love and make the statement against those silly Team Smashbox folks.

Also, to whom it may concern, where TF is my TCV shirt? I finally got my CD, now I would like my shirt.

oh, hmo. That's so very awesome. Especially since he's digusting looking without a shirt on.

::cuddles my child pass:: I like to have an excuse for my being lame.

Someone at Bacon's school has a Team Edward sticker on her minivan. I want to take a pic, but I keep forgetting my camera, and my phone has no zoom.

And I take umbrage at lumping Trekkies in with this nonsense. I don't think we're anything alike.

Star Trek as a movement has inspired engineers, has created technology, and is a vision of a peaceful world with no poverty, racism, and peace.

Twilight isn't even comparable to that and never, ever Ever EVER EVER will be.  It inspired underwear with someone lips photoshopped on the inside.
