    this couldn't have possibly come at a worse time. I got all of our credit cards cancelled (fiance and I share a few accounts), BUT, our mortgage is currently in underwriting, and our realtor is afraid that messing with these accounts could jeopardize our credit scores and our mortgage. Also, just our luck that our mortgage broker is on vacation this week so I can't talk to him about it.

    I got a new driver's license this morning. Changed the lock on my apartment. got new swipe card for apartment complex.  Got a new mailbox key.

    this is just SO frustrating. I am literally, truly, sitting at my desk sobbing right now.

    I had two pairs of really sentimental earrings in my purse (a sparkly purple pair from my aunt and a swarovski pair from my godmother), plus a bracelet that my MOH gave me for my birthday. They weren't particularly worth a lot of money, but it breaks my heart that someone took things like that from me.

    my boss is being super supportive - he is pissed off that it happened. some people seem to just think that I lost it. I had my phone in my purse when I walked back from lunch and remember getting it out from my purse once i got back, and I never left my office after that. I really don't understand what happened.

    Oh man, I'm so sorry it didn't turn up! At least you got the replacement cards/keys so quickly.

    I would think the cc shouldn't hurt your score b/c the cc company should just send you cards with a new number, you aren't really closing your acct, right?

    That totally stinks about the earrings. I wish I could say something that would make you feel better about that :-/

    Oh you poor thing, I'm so sorry this is happening to you. I didn't even think about the house/mortgage situation but like Bmore said, I wouldn't think it'd be an issue because they should just change your card numbers??
