oil lantern centerpieces

Hello!

I started googling on where to find oil lamps for centerpieces. Does anyone have any idea? I don't want them to be huge, nor do I want them tiny. I've tried searching for "hurricane lamp", "hot oil lamp", "coal oil lamp", and haven't found any really great options.

I did find some info on making my own olive oil lamps, and that appeals to me greatly! Has anyone done this?

I don't have any experience, but real oil lamps at a wedding seem kind of sketch to me, just make sure you check with your venue!

I was given 25 smallish oil lamps but I probably won't use them. The box they came in says CMT. Not sure if that's an online store, but that's where they came from. They feel lightweight, metal, and are fully functional.

I agree with some of the other posts about not using oil lamps themselves, however I did find this (http://www.orientaltrading.com/oil-lamp-with-led-light-a2-91_6250.fltr).  They use LED bulbs so they can run for hours on a single battery and the LED flickers to give you the effect you want.   They are also very affordable!
