FAVORS?

Is anyone not doing Favors for the wedding?? Im trying to decide if I should do them? My fiance is totally against them... he thinks they are a complete waste of money!

We didn't do any favors.  In my experience, they're usually a waste or get left behind.

Thats what my fiance says.. our favors are the open bar!! haha! did anyone even notice you didnt have any?!

Most people skip them and no one misses them. I've only ever been to one wedding where they had favors (edibles too in plain sight) and no one touched them. Anyone who stayed to the end was sent home with as many as their pockets and purses could fill. That told me that they definitely aren't necessary.

I agree that they aren't necessary....Originally we were going to do something edible, but the more we thought about it the more we realized that would be money better suited someplace else in the budget.  I really doubt anyone will miss them anyway.

If anyone noticed, they never mentioned it.  In my area, favors aren't very common anyway.  We did have an open bar, tons of food, and cheesecake, so yeah I'm with your FI.  Those were our favors!

Unless they are edible, I don't think they're a good idea in general

We did mini bottles of champagne and they were a big hit

We didn't do them.  I agree with your FI, our favor was the open bar.  That way no one noticed anything by the end of the night .

If you're really in love with something and don't know what to do with your money, it's cool, but it just seems so impractical to me when that extra $2-3/pp could go toward upgrading the food or bar.
