Need help choosing color scheme/theme!

Hi there

My wedding is six months out and I have yet to make a final decision on colors/ theme! I am not good being matchy matchy nor do I know what looks good and what doesn't! I have decided that I want to incorporate damask (white & black),  buy beyond that I'm at a loss.  I also thought about incorporating Mercury glass candle holders etc as my centerpieces, but i'm not even sure if that would look good with the damask! I also would like an accent color ----I am not a pink or red person. Turquoise was one of my initial picks, but i just don't know what looks good with what! Anyone who is good with coordinating things please help with suggestions,  experience, anything would be helpful! Thank you!!

Any color would go well with the black and white. I just Googled "damask and turquoise wedding" and lots of pretty pics came up. I suggest doing that to get some ideas of things you might like.

You should look up David Tutera and watch "My Fair Wedding".  I am having the same issues but he gives good inspiration.  Good luck and happy wedding!

i used colourlovers.com when i decided on black, ivory and burgundy.

almost anything goes well with damask....blues/greens/burgundy/etc

Turquoise with a black and white damask would be pretty. I considered that for my wedding as well. Do a little image searching and I'm sure you'll find plenty of results.

I'm doing Aqua and Orchid with silver/white accents.  Aqua is my FAV color.  I suggest that with the black and white...close enough to your turquoise choice and lighter for the summer to brighten up the damask!  : )  Try "Pool" from Davids Bridal...although- I dont reccommend that store.  Just the color choice!!  You could shop around for it.  Good luck!

first: your color scheme isn't your theme so don't get worries about that.

black, white, silver and turquoise looks great together!! the colors dont have to match, they just need to coordinate

Are you planning a more modern or traditional wedding? Also if your wedding is close to summer, you might want to choose a light/bright color to pair with the high contrast of the damask to keep that summery feel.  Yellow would be fun and modern.(Bonus: yellow really sets off Silver!)
