I'm currently living in Humboldt, CA (fiance's in coast guard) but all of his family is in MA ... We're having the wedding out there in september 2011 and I'm WAY ahead of my game but trying to figure out great locations for a reception. It obviously doesn't have  to be in Ashburnham but not TOO far out of the way. (the ceremony is in ashburnham infront of his parents house)Any suggestions would be MORE then helpful! = )

    I live in a town that is next to Ashburnham. We are having our reception at the Wachusett Village Inn which is in Westminster, MA (which is another town next to Ashburnham). Its right off the main highway so its a great location. I thought their pricing was reasonable and they have a couple of options for rooms for the reception. Its a very nice country setting. Also, its a hotel so you can accommodate OOT guests. I have also been to a wedding at the Colonial Hotel in Gardner, MA. I thought it was a nice place too. They have a beautiful ballroom. I'm not sure about accommodations but I'm sure they must have something similar to Wachusett. I don't know anything about their pricing though. I'll try to think of more...

    We've looked at Sterling National Country Club and my fiance was hinting at wachusett inn. Thanks for the suggestions = )
