Need ideas: What to hang from a tree?

Hi gang - There is a beautiful tree in front of our reception lodge.  I'd love to hang something from the tree, but can't decide what... I love the ideas of crystals or chandeliers, but that seems expensive, difficult, and could be a huge problem if it is windy.Does anyone have any other ideas?Thanks!

how about mason jars with candles in them, or small votives? That would be really pretty!

If you look in the real weddings section of the Knot, there are several pictures showing flower pomanders hung from trees.  I think it looks pretty cool, and you could easily DIY the pomanders which would be a cheap project.  Along the same line, you could also string individual flowers onto clear fishing wire and suspect those from the trees (you could also string some crystals on them).  Then it would look like the flowers are floating in mid air.  Another idea is moroccan candle lanterns (similar to the ones I used for my centerpieces).  They usually have some kind of "loop" on top so they can be hung up.
