Color Help!!!

Hi!  I need some help with my colors.  I am getting married at the Ritz Carlton Denver and they have a ton of colors going on in their carpet.  The colors I really like are orange, cream, and shades of grey.  I thought it went pretty well with the venue but my boss (who has a lot of meetings at the Ritz) is freaking me out by saying there is too much of a rust color in the carpet and orange won't look good.  Do the colors really have to go along with the color scheme at the venue that much?  Here is a picture of the lobby[IMG]http://assets2.likeme.net/550/large/picture_3.png.jpg[/IMG]This is a picture of a wedding with red and gold colors (which I hate for a summer wedding) [IMG]http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v29/blushalbino/untitledredgold.jpg[/IMG]

I wouldn't base the color scheme of my wedding around the carpet in the Ritz.

Honestly, I think you and especially your boss are over thinking it. My wedding will be at the Ritz-Carlton in Orlando, and if the one in Denver is as nice as the one I'm getting married at, then you have nothing to worry about in terms of decor...Take the carpet into consideration, but there is no need to base your entire color scheme around it.
