You can go to these sites to view back drop decorating ideas. mapleleafdecorations.com theweddingdecorations.com and the last my favorite... you have to google. It doesn't always work, so google: diamonds event decorating . These are where I found some inspriation. Hope they help. Good Luck.

I too agree, if you're actually doing a head table make sure your wedding party can still sit with their dates. Yes, the day is about you, but the people you care about most that are in your wedding party should be able to sit with their significant others. I've been to too many weddings where the boyfriend or the husband of a bridesmaid sat at a table where they didn't know anyone and looked like they were incredibly bored. Zero fun.. so think of your wedding party and the fact that you won't really be able to talk to any of them anyway unless they're the ones seated right next to you in the "line up".

her question is about decorations not who should sit there. Every wedding I have ever been to had a bridal party only head table and mine will be that way too....seriously not a big deal, they sit there for 15 mins. anyway....back on topic....candles are an awesome idea. Maybe mix them up large wih small...maybe have stones or pebbles in the bottom (this is giving me ideas typing this!). Maybe sprinkle rose pedals between....be creative it's YOUR day do what you would like!

Ok... her question may have been about head table decorations.. but that's just the thing.. she's doing a head table! WOOOOW! And what wedding were you at when the dinner service only lasted for 15 minutes?! Any formal dinner service will last for AT LEAST an hour probably more with all the courses, and let's not forget the toasts and cake cutting and all that jazz. I've watched the poor significant others at weddings sit at a table where they didn't know anyone and had a horrible time! Yes your wedding day is about you, but you should at least try to make sure your guests don't have a horrible time because they were lonely for a majority of the night. You love the people in your bridal party the most and want to honor them, then you let them bring a date, but seperate them from each other for most of the night, yeah that's a great idea!
