Linen Colors

We are getting married in July 2010, and our colors are navy and fuschia. I can't decide if we should use navy linens with fuschia runners, or white linens with alternating navy and fuschia runners. What do you think would look best? TIA!

Re: Linen Colors

• I love your colour scheme -we're doing navy and kelley green. I think sometimes it's best to keep it simple, could you do navy linens with just a nice full fuschia floral arrangements? Or have you got your heart set on the runners? We plan on having navy pintucked linens
• P.S - you may have seen it but this Real Wedding from the knot has lots of pretty navy/fuschiahttp://weddings.theknot.com/Real-Weddings/37865/view.aspx?type=1&id=37865
• Is it a daytime wedding or a nighttime wedding? How formal is it? I think the navy linens would work for a formal evening wedding, but for anything else they'd probably be too dark, and I'd go with white and bring in the colors elsewhere.
This is a neglected planning bio.
This is a belated married bio, with no reviews yet because I'm lazy.

Sometimes I feel like people think that brides are delicate little flower princesses who get all dressed up and pretty for one special moment of their dreams, when really they're just normal people who just happen to be getting married. Things shouldn't have to be sugar-coated for grown-ass women. -mstar284
• Try picturing the navy linens with white napkins, and all the white plates and sparkly glasses- I know I thought all navy would be dark, until I remembered about the dishes.
• Well our reception is going to be fairly casual, and we are using disposable plates, glasses, etc. We are on a pretty small budget, but I am trying to make the tables look as nice as I can.
