Travel-Themed Favors

Hi everyone! I'm in need of a good idea for travel-themed wedding favors. Our favor budget is ~$2/guest. We've already thought of luggage tags, but I doubt that the quality of $2 luggage tags makes them worth giving away (considering how gentle TSA is with your bags). The location is Washington, DC, so we're not looking for beachy stuff. Any ideas would be appreciated, ESPECIALLY DIY in advance ideas. Thanks!

I like the chocolates idea. Toiletries are also very thoughtful. Instead of wrapping chocolates in a personalized sleeve you could do the same with gum. I know I am always wishing I had gum whenever I hop on a plane. Jones Soda in your wedding color - the pictures on jones bottles are from all over. This one is likely out of price range, but those little travel pillows are awesome! Travel theme puzzle books, like crosswords or word searches. A small goodie bag of tiny treats from all over - belgian chocolate, swiss cheese (and crackers), etc. or go with US locations like Hershey's from PA (though no one would know if it didn't come from there). I'm from Michigan and Mackinac Island Fudge and Traverse City Cherries are a big thing here. HTH!
