Too Much Bling, HELP

Hi Ladies, Need some help. I think i may be going a bit over board. I found these beautiful candle holders in hobby lobby (using tall ones on 7 guest tables and smaller ones on head tablesInstead of using candles, I'm filing them with white hyrangea and white roses.added are two pedestals with white votive candles so the light will still bounce of the crystals. After getting that together, I thought, I wanted to add some height on the floor so, I ordered crystal trees to use on the other 3 floor tables ( 2 reserved tables, one on right of dance floor, one on left and then at the top of the dance floor, one of the crystal trees will serve as a centerpriece there) these trees are a littles less than 4 ft tall and will be accompanied by tall taper candles (pic below)So now that I've got all the tables dresses, I looked at my dance floor that sits right in the middle of the room and thought, "Hey I can hang crystals from the ceiling and I actually found them. (pic below)My question is, IS THIS TOO MUCH BLING??? LET ME KNOW IF I'M GOING OVERBOARD!!

  • Sounds really nice! As long as everything coordinates, you probably won't go overboard ;)
  • Love them! Is there really such a thing as too much bling?

  • Those are really nice! They actually inspired me to look up Hobby Lobby and find on near me! I'll have to check it out, hopefully they have them, I would love them for the head table.

  • Where did you order the trees?

  • PLEASE tell me what the exact name and item # these candle holders are!!  I have been looking for this type everywhere.  I don't have a hobby lobby anywhere near me.
  • I do have a team to help with the set up and will be able to get into the ballroom the evening before. It's that evening we will hang crystals and set the crystal trees. I actually rented the trees from a local company. That Friday, we will also set the guest tables with the portion of centerpieces that wont perish. Fortunantly, the hotel rep will make sure their team puts all tables/chairs in place according to our agreed diagram and I opted to use their linens, which leaves us drop in the centerpieces. Not until Saturday evening will the hydrangea/roses make their appearance. I dont know off hand the item number for the candle holders but they are a regular on the shelves at Hobby Lobby. I got what is the tallest which runs 49.99 each but Hobby Lobby usually rotates their "half-off" sale, so I got all mine for $25 a pieces. Unfortunantly, it wasn't until I'd covered every hobby lobby on the north side of Houston and the one in Baytown, Conroe, and my hometown of Beaumont, and I only needed to find 2 more that the sales rep said they could order them for me and would call me when they come in (who would have thought). Since they only get 2 to 3 of one size at a time, that may be a good option to use. I'm no professional by fair but myself and the persons who will help me have decorated for a few other weddings before so we are confident that we can pull it off. Its just this time, it's one of us that the bride so I really want to see my vision come to life, but not go overboard with it all.
  • I love your ideas, and there's no such thing as too much bling! A girl after my own heart :) Our weddings are exactly a year apart, and mine will be drenched in sparkly things too. GL!
