Bouquet toss, no garter?

So I wasn't planning to do the bouquet/garter tosses because I don't really get the point of them when I go to weddings but apparently most of my friends love the bouquet toss so I am thinking I will do one since I get a tossing bouquet with my florist anyway. But I really don't want to do the garter throw, just think its not our style and I would be embarrassed. Is it okay to just do the bouquet toss?

yup... you can do what ever traditions you want, really...Personally, my friends and I dislike the bouquet toss. We usually just scatter as the flowers go up in the air and leave the little flower girl standing there alone to catch it. Same with the garter toss.

One of my bridesmaids did the bouquet toss at her wedding, but no garter toss.  If we do tosses at our AHR, it will probably be just bouquet and no garter.You can do both, just one, or neither.  All up to you.

You can do what you want. My friends and I also hate bouquet tosses and make a mad dash for the bar. If your friends like it have it!

I'm throwing a "bouquet" of lottery tickets, and FH is tossing a garter with a Best Buy gift card attached. A friend of mine thew a Coach wristlet instead of a bouquet. Make it fun, and make it your thing!
