Favors

I really could use some ideas for favors. I want to have something that is either functional or edible. We are having koozies that will come with your beer (FI has to have can beer) but I would also like something that everyone could enjoy. I think the candy buffets are such a good idea but a friend just recently had that at her wedding.

I think chocolate covered pretzels would be good...and they're really easy to make yourself. Just buy pretzel rods, break each one in half and dip it in chocolate. Michaels sells wilton chocolates in all different colors so you could buy some in your wedding colors and drizzle it on the dipped pretzels. Buy little bags and tie them with ribbon in your wedding colors...just a thought! My mom just made 300 of them for our out of town guest bags. She does them every year for the holidays too and they're yummy, cheap and easy to make!

I'm doing Hershey's Nuggets and creating custom wrappers for them. I'm also going to have jelly bellys in our colors in small votive cups.

I have tuxedo shaped and wedding dress shaped favor boxes... I just have to find candy to put in them. LOL

For what it's worth, I'm not doing favors at all at my wedding, and neither have any of my friends. I just think of all the things we girls stress about and spend money on, favors are the least remembered and least appreciated.
