Mother/Daughter Dance

Are any of you dancing with your mom?  I'm not having it as a spotlight dance but I wanted to dance with my mom and dedicate a song to her.  Does anyone know of any songs about mother/daughter relationships?  I'm having a hard time finding one.  Most of them are father/daughter or mother/son.  Thanks for the help.

We attended a wedding where the bride danced with her mom (after the dance with her dad), and I think it was to Bette Midler's "Wind Beneath My Wings." Everyone thought it was sweet. Celine Dion's "Because You Loved Me" might also work. Unless you are planning this as a surprise for your mom, talk to her about a song she might like. Or ask your DJ/band leader for suggestions. I think it is a great idea, The Best Day by Taylor Swift is amazing, and I always thought it would be perfect

Think of songs/aritsts more from your mom's generation if you want it to be a surprise for her, or more meaningful to her. My daughter and I picked "Days like this" by Van Morrison. I also liked "Forever Young" by Rod Stewart or "Circle of Life" by Elton John.

My dad died a few years ago- Mom and I are dancing to Daughters by John Mayer... doesn't make sense for everyone, but it works for us

since my dad is not in my life at all and i dont have any male figures i have this issue as well..if my mom decides she will be ok with the dance i would choose reba mcintire's song I'll be...it makes me tear up to hear it.
