Boudoir Pictures?

Are any of you ladies doing B pics? I have been back and forth about doing them. One minute I want to do them but another minute I think it would be a waste of money. What do you ladies think?

I'm not doing them. I think the concept is great but I personally don't think they are worth the money that photographers are charging (at least in my area).

I'm not. I wouldn't be comfortable in front of a photographer not wearing much clothing.

I really, really want to, but they're so expensive here and we're saving for a house. They're like $450 for an album of a whopping 8 pictures. I know he'd love them. I think that a friend who's a talented photographer could do just as good of a job for much less... I'm thinking about that too. I have one ameteur photographer girlfriend who might do it... maybe... although it would be totally awkward if I asked her and she were freaked out by it.

i'm going to get them done for FI as a small part of his wedding present - BUT - my friend is taking them! I searched online and found some ways to take them yourself using bed sheets, pillows, candles... So i'm going next monday to have her take them. There's also websites you can upload the pictures on to add soft focus, take out red eyes, etc... I know they won't be "professional" looking, but it's something i really want to do and just can't spend a lot of money on it, so this works for me.

I am doing them in about 2 weeks. Sounds like wherever you all are they  can be quite pricey. There are photogs in my area that will do boudoir events either at their studio or at a hotel and share the price of the hotel room and studio time with a few girls to cut the price a little lower. I am doing a boudoir event, 8hrs of open studio time so I can go in whenever I want and stay as long as I want, get as many shots as I want, and as many outfits. There is a maximum of 10 girls for the day, so there may be more than just me there at any given time. It's only $99 and I get a CD of the edited images!I know I want to bring my FI's guitar with, and I have been trying to find just the right red wig also.I was hesitant to do it as well at higher prices, but for what I am getting for $99 I was sold and signed up right away. I can't wait!
