Un-Seasonal Colors?

My fiance and I were originally planning on getting married in the winter and settled on the colors raspberry-maroon and black.  We later added silver as an accent color.  Now, it looks like we'll be getting married in either the spring or summer.  Maroon and black aren't very spring/summer-esque, but we absolutely love the colors and don't want to change.  Any ideas how we can give the wedding a season-appropriate feel without changing colors?  I'm also set on using roses as the flower.Thanks!!

I think those colors are beautiful any time of year!  Your colors don't have to match the season.

You should choose colors you love. Don't base them on the season.You could choose roses in a more summer-ish color to tie in the season.

I personally think that you should do whatever colors you want, and to hell with what time of year it is. You can always tie into the season by using flowers that are in season (Maybe in a "summery" color), or somehow incorporate "summer" colors into the decor.

Do whatever colors you want! Our wedding was a week ago (Nov 1) and one of our colors was light pink...not fall-ish at all! But it turned out great!

Use the colors you love! We're doing a fall wedding and our colors are Caribbean blue & lime green. I doubt people will care what colors you use. They'll just be happy for you and your dh.

Thank you girls so much for the responses!  I was thinking of just saying "screw the season" but I, of course, had second thoughts lol.  Thank you all, though, for reaffirming my decision.  Great ideas for using the flowers and decor to give a nod to the season~
