Escort Cards

I'm trying to think of something creative to do with escort cards. I'm having an outdoor wedding and the reception will be in the tent at our venue. Im getting married June 12, 2010 and my colors and yellow and blue. Do not really have a theme and I completely lack any artistic ability! Please help!!

What are you favors? Depending on what they are you could turn those into your escort cards. Otherwise I would just do plane tented escort cards that match your color scheme.

I'm doing an outdoor wedding and at first I was planning on using a tree to hang ribbon from and pin my escort cards onto the ribbon. But I changed my reception venue and there are no trees in a decent area so I am using a white lattice back drop with lights and fabric on the back side and hanging the ribbon on the lattice. Soooo I guess what I'm really trying to say is you can hang them from ribbon. LOL. You can do it by table number or by the first letter of their last name.

What about having them on sticks that are stuck in pots of wheatgrass? That would go with the whole outdoor feel and would be really easy to do.
